Thus Begins...

... Two Months of Holidays!

As I am writing this, some of my friends are in the exam room, facing Sashirekha's Engineering Mathematics 2. Hopefully, she is being Sashi the Merciful this time around. I still have nightmares of last semester's EM2, when the paper was apparently not meant for human eyes. I think we all remember the expressions in the exam room!

Something like that lar.

23 questions in 3 hours. That's TWENTY-THREE several-pages-long questions, mind you! Don't know about you, but I think that that's a feat bordering on the edge of superhuman?

Well, she taught me this semester, as well. Engineering Mathematics 3C. The exam wasn't EASY, but at least it was do-able! So I hope you guys are doing fine in that room right now =)

So what have I been doing since the holiday gear kicked in? First order of the day is, of course, SLEEP. It's funny - during the last few weeks to exam, I would study late nights and early mornings and can get by with just several hours of sleep. However, the moment the exams are over, three weeks' worth of lack of sleep sinks in and my body's energy tank drops well below 'Empty'.

Side tracking! Click Five's 'Empty'. Emo betul that lagu. But it's still strangely captivating. Maybe there's this side in all of us that yearns for periodic dosages of Emo-ness. Hmm hmm. But I wonder why MCR doesn't really have lasting fans? Maybe all their die hard fans have all committed suicide? Seriously lar. Their songs are all about deaths and drinking poison and slitting wrists. What happened to BUTTERFLIES and FLOWERS?? Hahaha.

Of course, there's also badminton. Who could live without badminton? But since the start of the holidays, I have only played badminton once. So many people are busy with this and that that it's hard to be able to get something together. And that one day I played badminton, I find that I've all rusted up! It's funny how much effect one or two weeks of not playing can make!

Lazy to rant liao.

More next time!

Side order: I'll be leaving for Miri next week. Road trip with some of the guys!

Wow, you like the Cick Five! Amazing. I thought all their fans are girls only. Haha.

Have you thought about it?

WOOHOO! Enjoy, Drin!

Tracy,
Not really. It just so happens that 'Empty' sounds kinda good. Not a fan of most of their work! Mainly because most of their songs sounds exactly the same like all the other bands out there.

Cruxstone,
Talking bout your offer, I presume? Hmm. Still thinking about it. But you might wanna look for someone else as backup. Just in case I say 'no'!

Dienasty,
Thanks. Yeah, gonna enjoy.

They have a lot of songs directed towards girls actually. Remember 'Jenny' and a few of their older songs? Can't stand those, btw. Even though I'm female.

Like you, I'm not a fan and they definitely sound very generic. Nothing new.

Aah... 4 days left before I get to enjoy the same. =) Have fun!

Keep up your badminton. Don't let Thian Yew's lessons go to waste. =P

I think you should take up some extra precautions when going out with us. The disease of gayness had already infected most of us including you.

The 6 days trip is going to be 'fun'.

I'm looking forward to it. :p

Tracy,
I'm glad that you see the light. I wonder what kinda stuff you like to listen to? Heh. My friends say that my music taste is very 'unorthodoxed' and 'not mainstream'.

Axfangli,
Patience for 4 more days! And erm. Thian Yew never taught me anything about badminton. Remember how Sportsman Night used to coincide with my tuition classes? Yeah. I only started badminton when I am in Foundation.

Ezekiel,
It's Avery, okay??!!! I propose that we bring lots of rope to tie him up for the duration of the bus trip. And Mexicana torture him if he tries anything. But I will be bringing lots of celotape too, just in case =P

Unorthodoxed is good. Unconventional is much more interesting than conventional.

As for myself, I listen to everything really. Mainstream, indie, as long as it's not too over the top, fake or dumb. I fine with all genres, rock, pop, r&b and hip-hop.

Here's are some examples of what I don't listen to. Shayne Ward's Breathless and Hang Up. My predominantly female friends go gaga over the two songs, it's the lyrics they say. As for me, a big NO NO. Way over the TOP. And there's Soulja Boy as well. Just glance at my What-I-Hate list.

Tracy,
The bad thing about having unconventional music taste is that friends will always prefer others' playlists over yours.

I don't listen to Shayne Ward AT ALL. Despite the looks and high-key singing voice, he boasts the stupidest lyrics around. And Soulja Boy? Don't even put his work in the category of music. He just puts a backbeat and then repeats his own name throughout the song. Equally annoying is Caprice.

Hello Aldrin.

You asked me to comment, and here I am. In my full fledged glory, I am here, in your mercy, begging at the throne of grace- grovelling at the feet of Aldrin Almighty.

Ok crapping. XD

I like Click Five too. And I know why you are emo.

Its because I have left you! I have betrayed your heart, ignored your soul.. and given way to the lust of the flesh.

Ok crapping much. XD

Hello!!

Arigato!!

Btw Tracy, I dont like their song Jenny. In fact the only song I like is Empty.

And thats because Aldrin left me.

Daniel,
... I should have known something like this would happen when I asked you to comment. I didn't leave you, Daniel. I DIDN'T. Believe me. If we can be together, I will gladly give my heart. But we can't. We CAN'T. The stars wouldn't allow it. It has already been written! :(

Gayness aside, it must have been more than coincidence that we happen to like 'Empty' at the same time. K, this still sounds kinda gay.

*reads last few comments* Aldrin is now an authoritative music critic. =)

Haha, whoops... forgot that you didn't join us for badminton. I just remembered you being at Sportsman since you played ping-pong with us.

Axfangli,
You're talking about the gay innuendos? =P Haha~

And yeah. There might have been once or twice that I played ping pong with you guys during Sportsman. I vaguely recall such events.. Haha.
