The Old Ride

This is what it used to be like - back when we were staying in Morley and had to endure long commute times every day.

6am. The sun has only begun creeping over the horizon. The sky is dark. The air is cold.

The stand awaits.

The yellow glare of the sodium street lamps illuminate our spot. There is a bench, but we do not sit. The wood is warped to a weird angle, making it extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

We wait. At times, shivering.

The morning bus is usually quite punctual. Depending on the time, we take either Bus 49 or Bus 58. The journey from our house to the bus station takes around 10 minutes.

Morley Bus Station!

Stand A2. Here we await Circleroute 99 for the one hour journey to UWA.

This one goes to the city.

The morning 99. This was taken about halfway along the journey. By the time we get to UWA, it'll be totally packed with people.

Not many pictures during the bus ride. I usually pay a visit to the Sleeping God. Hehehe...

7.45am. UWA!

Now make the same trip twice a day, five days a week.

After moving, bus trips are now around 10 minutes long. Whew!

Eric,
Yeah. Back in the school days, we never complained about having to wake up at 6am every morning. Five days a week. For at least 12 years!

Well, minus 2 years for afternoon session.

I only complained during Saturday replacement classes, I think.

That is one beautiful shot of your U, Aldrin. You need to do a post about Uni life, as opposed to life OUTSIDE Uni. Hope you're enjoying yourself!
